The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of an effective critical path based launch process that builds customer confidence and meets the needs of the business.
  • Undertaking trials in line with Barfoots & customer requirements including coordinating pre-production & launch preparation.
  • Working with Operations, Technical & Development teams to establish the necessary quality attributes throughout every stage of the process. Understand and report on issues with processing & operational capabilities.
  • Work with the operations team to ensure launched products continue to meet the required standard and ensure the process established at launch is still valid for full-scale production. Implement improvements where necessary.
  • The development of a well-understood detailed launch plan with understanding of the process and buy in across all areas of the business.

You will be the raw material expert. This role is hands on working at our Leythorne Site with some travel to offsite storage required. The hours of work are 6am to 6pm.
We are looking for a motivated individual with impeccable communication skills, alongside a high attention to detail and a genuine passion for Quality Assurance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and following all quality standards and systems
  • Checking quality and temperature of all inbound raw material products in a timely manner
  • Ensuring Food Safety standards are not compromised
  • Liaise and influence production and procurement teams, optimising yield and ensuring specifications are not compromised
  • Providing timely and accurate feedback to our suppliers and key stakeholders

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Good attention to detail and problem solving abilities
