The Role

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that COSHH regulations and all health, safety and Company routines, policies and SOP’s are fully complied with
  • Cleaning equipment and facilities to an agreed rota and standard, ensuring that accurate cleaning records are maintained.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment at all times by being responsible for the Health and Safety within own area.
  • Providing effective communication to line manager reporting any difficulties encountered or hygiene/ food safety issues.
  • Ensuring any cleaning chemicals are used and stored correctly
  • Continually improving the hygiene department

We are looking for candidates with the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A “can-do” approach to work tasks and team goals
  • Knowledge of Fresh Produce Industry Standards
  • Level 2 Food Safety
